PAN AFRICAN NEEM SUMMIT AT BUKINA FASO 2017
The first Pan-African Neem Summit (PANS) is a new movement for the promotion of the Neem of Africa (NoA) umbrella. This new endeavor aims to provide an international forum to the neem scientists, researchers, NGOs and private entities to better understand this African green treasure, to rationally harness its virtues and other socio-economic opportunities (Djily Dane Mba@ke, Senegal Neem Foundation website, August 22, 2016).
Dr. Doudou Diane Faye came from Senegal West Africa. He is an entomologist and agronomist, presently residing in Austin Texas. Dr. Faye is a founder and president of the Africa Bound Corporation, Senegal Neem Foundation, Center Garden Foundation and NGO’s of 541 C3 that was recognized by the Federal government of the United States of America.
Dr. Doudou Diane Faye has invited everyone to join the first African summit that would be held from the 23rd to the 25th day of February in the year 2017 at Burkina Faso. He asks people around the world to celebrate, rejoice, enjoy, promote and live the reality and the extraordinary potential of Neem in African Nation. He invited the people around the world to take part of this big African event for the first time.
Dr. Faye, on his message, mentioned that there’s a lot of Neem in Africa that in Senegal West Africa alone is between 18 million to 30 million Neem trees all mature and ready to produce and rationally exploited. He believed this will lead to sustainable development throughout African nation. He reiterated that Neem has multiple benefits to human as natural medicine, from taking care live stocks as well as empowering and improving the Eco-system environment. He also emphasized that the increasing number of Neem trees would help solve land reclamation as well as carbon dioxide sequestration.
He says that more vital information about the benefits of Neem will be discovered during this very first Pan-African Neem Summit at Burkina Faso on the 23rd to the 25th day of February in the year 2017.
Part of his message, “We invite all the Neem supporters, scientists, agriculturists, livestock people, NGO’s, students, business people, women and men, and anybody else who would like to know more about Neem as well as the people who would really like to help promote the Neem throughout the world to join us on this big event.
